Our History & Team
Happy Hearts & Minds was founded by experienced healthcare professionals with a heartfelt mission. The idea for our service was conceived over many years, with the final concept taking shape around 2008. Our founders, who chose not to place their own family members in nursing homes, rallied together to create a family-owned and operated business that offers comprehensive elder care.

Driven by personal experiences and a desire to provide a better alternative, our founders developed a service that allows caregivers to maintain a balanced daily life by entrusting their loved ones to our compassionate care. This approach not only gives peace of mind to caregivers but also ensures their loved ones receive the best possible care.

Inspired by nurses during childbirth in 2001, Mrs. Mincey initially aimed to become a midwife. However, her first clinical session revealed her true calling in geriatrics.
Passionate about building relationships with elderly patients, she felt a deep responsibility to care for those without families. This led her to establish Happy Hearts and Minds Adult Daycare, dedicated to providing compassionate support to the elderly.

Leticia Manning's first job in childcare ignited a passion for compassionate care. Nearing retirement in her field, she sought a gratifying, long-term career.
Inspired by her experiences, she and her sister J. founded Happy Hearts and Minds Adult Daycare, dedicated to supporting the elderly with heartfelt care.
